Terms of use
The terms on which you may use this website. Plain English, and deliberately short.

These terms cover this website only. They are not the contract for any building work. If you go ahead with a job, you will receive a separate written quotation setting out the price, the scope of works, timings and payment terms. That document governs the work itself, not this page.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Ignat Construction Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16480006, registered office 12 Mount Pleasant Road, Dartford, England, DA1 1TH. You can reach us at ignatconstruction@gmail.com.
2. Using this site means accepting these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update this page from time to time; the version published here is the one that applies.
3. The information here is general guidance
We describe our services, typical approaches and common questions to help you decide whether to contact us. It is written in good faith but it is general information, not professional advice about your specific property. Every building is different. Do not rely on anything on this site as a substitute for having someone look at the actual job.
The guidance in our FAQs covers drying times, painting new plaster, working over artex and so on. It describes what is usually true. Your own circumstances may differ.
4. Nothing here is a fixed price
No price, estimate or indication given on this website, by phone, or by message constitutes a binding offer. A price becomes binding only when we issue a written quotation after assessing the work, and you accept it.
Ballpark figures given before a site visit are exactly that. They are an informed guess based on limited information, offered to help you plan, and they may change once we have seen the condition of what we are working on.
5. Enquiries
Submitting the quote form, emailing or messaging us does not create a contract and does not oblige either of us to anything. We aim to respond to every genuine enquiry, usually within one working day, but we reserve the right to decline work. That might be because it falls outside our trade, outside the area we cover, or outside our availability.
Please give us accurate information. We cannot price a job sensibly from a description that turns out not to match the property.
6. Content on this site
The text, layout, design, graphics and photographs of our own work on this site belong to us or are used under licence. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal use in considering our services.
You may not republish, sell, rent, or systematically copy material from this site, or use it commercially, without our written permission. Some photographs are stock images licensed from third parties and are not ours to sub-license.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Submit false enquiries, or anyone else's personal details without their permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system.
- Introduce viruses or any other malicious code.
- Scrape, harvest or automatically extract content or contact details, including for marketing.
8. Links to other websites
Where we link out, for example to the Companies House register or to the ICO, we do so for your convenience. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
9. Availability
We try to keep the site available and up to date, but we do not guarantee it will always be accessible or free of errors. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice.
10. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to have services carried out with reasonable care and skill, apply regardless of anything written here. Subject to the above, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website, or from reliance on general information published on it. Liability arising from work we actually carry out is dealt with in the written quotation for that work and by our insurance, not by this page.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
